We are seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team and take on the responsibility of maintaining our production infrastructure, monitoring all systems, and managing databases and web servers. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuration management, troubleshooting, software updates, and system improvements.

Your tasks? 

• Perform maintenance of production infrastructure, including configuration management, troubleshooting, software updates, and improvements

• Monitor all systems using Nagios and various email/sms notifications

• Administer databases such as MariaDB and Redis, as well as web servers like Apache and Nginx

• Operate client systems running macOS and other office IT infrastructure

• Manage employee-facing services like Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace

• Analyse system, security, performance, and capacity to ensure optimal operation

• Participate in Site Reliability Management to maintain system reliability and uptime

• Be part of the on-call duty rotation to address any system issues outside of regular hours

• Support the team in daily tasks related to system administration

• Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations and processes

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor/Master's degree in IT/Computer Science or German Ausbildung (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration)

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in areas relating to the Job Description

• Hands-on experience in working with Linux & MacOS

• Independent, structured way of working

• Fluent in English
